Julie Klinkert completed her physiotherapy degree at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2005. Following a year of community service in Physiotherapy at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in 2006, Julie worked for a Cardiopulmonary ICU physiotherapy practice. She then diverted into the world of neurosurgical sales and education which led her to open her own private physiotherapy practice in 2008. This practice mainly focused on orthopaedic and neurological patients both in and out of hospital.
In 2011 Julie gave birth to identical twin daughters which sparked her passion for pregnancy, post birth fitness and body recovery, and the need to motivate women to regain their pre-pregnancy bodies. In 2013 Julie began working with maternity patients for Physiodynamix, a well- known maternity physiotherapy practice, where her passion for all things pregnancy and post-birth related was further enhanced.
Julie started working for DJO Global, an orthopaedic company, working with bracing, recovery and orthopaedic support products in 2016. Her movement to start empowering women through bracing, support and post-birth diet and exercise began in 2017. Julie currently treats maternity patients and takes great pleasure out of their success as they return to their desired shape and function.
